Question: Okay so I have this menu bar that I want to use and I have a link to it bellow this text and I will explain what I want. http://www.uinvest2.com/test.html Okay I want to put that nav bar on all my pages and the code of it is linked to javascript; However it would be nuts when you wanted to update the link in the menu to paste in this code again on every page on your web site :]. So the solution for that is make the code in the nav bar separate and reference it on each page. That way all you have to do is change the file and then your nav bar is updated on every web page on your site. Note: the code for this I got from dynamic drive and it's AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS WRITING; The problem is the only way I know of embedding it into anything is using WHICH EMBEDS it from the HTML source or the page you just saw. The only problem with that is that you cant position anything underneath it within 200px because it's looked at as a Separate page; That is unless you use position absolute but I don't want to do that. Is there any easier way to reference this object in one file for this menu? You wasted a lot of space with the code. LOL All you need is to use Server Side Includes and set up the include code on every page where you want any content that will be updated. Then you make an include file that you update and overwrite when uploading. All changes appear on every page where the include code is. Just edit the .htaccess file to use SSI. You can style the include page to appear as if it was part of the page itself originally and not called by the include code. Ron
