My hair is REALLY frizzy what can i do? Topic: Air paper review

Question: When my hair dries natural its pretty frizzy with a little bit of curls/wavys..so i have to straighten it everyday..do u think gettin a perm so my curls aren't frizzy(and so the curls would look better) would help or would they still dry frizzy??

NO PERM, like the others said. :) There is a straightening chemical treatment but it only lasts 4-6 months and costs like $200. :/ Try experimenting with products and wearing your hair curly. It's really fun actually! Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful: *Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find reviews by region here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons *Don't shampoo every day. *Comb conditioner through hair in the shower. *Apply styling products to dripping wet hair. Scrunch or twirl hair to achieve desired shape. *Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don’t know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types *Avoid terrycloth towels on hair; use linen, paper towels, or t-shirts instead. *Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer. *Don't touch (or brush!) your hair while it’s drying. *Once completely dry scrunch out any crunchy texture. I would recommend something, but I don’t know your hair type. :) Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I agree with the person who said DO NOT GET A PERM!! it won't help and it will just dry your hair out more!! i've got naturally very very curly and frizzy hair, but i've been conditioning it alot, and sometimes actually leaving conditioner in all day (when i'm not going out ANYWHERE! lol!!) and also using some de-frizz gel stuff, which seems to help alot!! i wouldn't suggest straightening it everyday, as this will also just dry it out!! what i do, to stop my hair from going too frizzy and to encourage the curls, is letting it dry naturally and not combing it through unless i'm just about to wash it! i also use mousse and gels and stuff to stop the frizz. Good luck with the frizz control!! hope i helped!!! =D

If you can give it another week's break it would be good. Use the week to restrengthen your hair. You could use a hot oil treatment or...and i know this sounds really icky...wear an intensive conditioner overnight. The Aussie ones are good for this and there is a miracle one that works wonders on split ends. If all that doesn't work, TIGI BedHead do a serum in the Control Freak range, i think it's step 3. You just put a tiny bit in while your hair is wet and then style as usual, but as well as helping it straighten it also keep any split ends under control! It's a pretty good quick fix for nights out and stuff and you don't even feel it in your hair which is a bonus.

you need to cut the split ends off so your hair doesn't become further damaged by these already formed split ends. you CAN cut your hair off, it will continue to grow. cutting a few inches off isn't going to stop it from growing. if you want nice hair, cut all the split ends off and just deal with having to wait a little longer to have long hair. get a good hair mask, a good conditioner, and a good heat protectant. stop using hot tools on your hair every day, natural hair is much prettier anyway.
