Someone who makes $350,000 a year will only pay $2,000 a year more in taxes under Obama. This is only enough "redistribution of wealth" to cancel out Bush's tax breaks to the wealthy over the last 8 years. Obama is merely giving Bush's tax breaks to the middle and lower classes, instead of the upper class and wealthy corporations like Bush wanted.
That is not even CLOSE to socialism! I recommend people look up these two things: 1. Definition of socialism 2. The tax plans of Obama and McCain. PLEASE just look up the facts and do your research.
Some of you could benefit from actually looking at McCain's and Obama's tax plans.

It's simply not true that he changed the $250k limit to $150k. You're thinking of a quote Biden said in which he was talking about tax BREAKS to people who make $150k and under. He said nothing about tax increases, which STILL start at $250k

Because Obama has said it for himself. He has quoted the Marxist lexicon himself of Stalin. Ask Joe Biden what the tax plan is, he seems confused himself of what it is. Instead of spending like 7 million dollars on tonight's infomercials, why does he just not give that away to the poor?

Obama is socialism. Recalulate the taxes by using the IRS website.
The pathway to getting this country back on track is a Libertarian approach. McCain's points are much closer to this than Obama's.
Lower taxes on Corporations - this will allow companies to have growth and expand production that will add jobs.
Fix Health care by placing the power and responsibility back to the people.
Eliminate earmarks and pork spending. This wasteful spending is killing our country.
Strong Military leader. US Navy 22 years. Retired as a Navy Captain. Was in combat. Keep in mind, "Old men stop the wars before the young men can start them."
Increase taxes on Corporations- this increases the cost of doing business which pushes jobs over seas.
Socialized Health care does not work. Medicare does not cover the real expense of the current patient. Imagine Medicare times 20. This will over burden the system causing small hospitals to close and older physicians to retire early. The only way to make socialized medicine work is to ration services like Canada and Enland does. To get fast service, patients pay under the table. No choice by the patient.
Increase big government, increase spending on pet projects/pork. We cannot afford this way of life.
Military experience: None. Even a governor is the commander in chief of their states National Guard.

My answer is this. Republicans just can't stand that they are gonna lose and they will do anything,say and believe any thing. Obama isnt anymore socialist then Bush or Mccain.

It wasn't Main Street America that caused this. It was Washington and Wall Street.

Which tax plan of Obama's? That has been shifting around. Last time I heard Obama he dropped it from $250,000 a year to $200,000 a year and under for a tax cut. Then I heard Biden state taxes will be cut for $150,000 and under per year.
Those are the facts as of today. Can't say what they will be tomorrow. Shifting sands aren't reliable. Obama's stated intent to spread it around is not reassuring to anyone but the poorest among us.

It's actually Obama's fanatical supporters who don't know the definition of Socialism. They think that "change" = all wars will end, and poop will smell like perfume.
The "95%" of people Obama wants to give tax cuts to include 40% who pay no taxes at all.

Hmmm he started out saying only those making over $300,000 would pay more tax then it dropped to $250,000 then it dropped to $200,000 a week ago and just yesterday Biden said anyone making over $150,000 would pay more taxes...is this Obama's "Elevator Tax Plan" meaning it will keep going down until he is taxing welfare benefits?

Bush did give tax breaks to the middle and lower classes. Millions of people who had paid taxes no longer did.

Merely reading Obama's handouts does not constitute research. There is far more to the plan than the simplistic analysis you have offered here.

He already changed the 300,000 level down to 150,000.. This is the SAME obama that voted to raise taxes on wages above 42,000, by the way.

Ask the question that most Americans need answered. Why do Americans need and love social programs, yet love to hate socialism? Or what would the US look like without any socialist oversight and just let capitalism and the free market dicate the social, political, financial, infrastructural and environmental climate.
