What do you think the problem is? And how to solve it? Topic: What a word for problem solving

Question: I have embraced new beliefs and concepts regarding life in terms of positive thinking, dreaming big and spiritual growth. I’m very proud and satisfied about the level of knowledge I reached and how positively it affected my life style. On this journey, I have found very few people understanding and accepting my new concepts. Others (the majority) think it’s not realistic, not practical and illusionary. My problem with these people is not the fact that I don’t tolerate how they think, because they are simply free to have their own beliefs - and I was just like them 2 years ago, thinking that I have no control on my life. My real problem is the fact that I’m not being able to talk confidently with them when “the subject” is raised. I find myself tied and out of words. I also feel uncomfortable and unable to express my beliefs vividly and with passion (although I’m very sure that they are true) maybe because I don’t want to be criticized. People know that I’m becoming more spiritual and they do not interfere but whenever we discuss it, I prefer not to be engaged in the discussion because I just don’t know what to say especially when I start hearing the comments “this is crap!, I don’t believe in these stuff..etc”. I have this voice inside of me saying that they won’t buy what you say anyway and it will seem shallow and stupid for them! I also sometimes face this problem when one of my friends/colleagues is seeking advice or just talking to me about his/her problems. I try to use the language they will understand, but sometimes I need to tell them that everything is happening for a good reason – even the bad things - and when I do tell them so, I see in their eyes the comment “is she living with us in the same world?” Is it because I do not say it with power and conviction so this is why they do not get convinced? However, I do not have this problem with likeminded people, or people who have little knowledge about these beliefs and accepting to know more. Actually I find myself very expressive and motivating when I talk to them. I ‘m afraid that this problem will influence my early decision to switch my career in the field of self development and life coaching. Does my attitude means I have no confidence in myself? Or does it mean I do not believe enough? Is it a communication problem? Or is it about limiting beliefs that only exist in my mind?

Hi Ferial, While reading your words I felt very happy as it seems you have reached a very special time in your life. A time where searching for the purpose of your life is more important then anything else. It is a huge transition and you are actually on the right track in many ways. In the right time, which is when the point in the heart awakens, the creator provides each person the perfect conditions for his/ her spiritual advancement. for part a, just plug in 5 for t. since t represents time (hopefully in days) you get y = 5000/(1+4999e^(-0.8*5) in a calculator that comes out to be y = 54.019 which you round to 54 students. part B) 40 percent of 5000 students is 2000 students so set the y value equal to 2000 students then solve for t to find out how long it will take for them to cancel the classes. 2000= 5000 / (1+4999e^(-0.8t) divide by 5000 then multiply by the denominator (0.4) * (1+4999e^(-0.8t) = 1 distribute 0.4 + 1999.6e^(-0.8t) = 1 subtract by 0.4 on both sides, then divide by 1999.6 e^(-0.8t) = 3 / 9998 take natural log of both sides. ln (3 / 9998 ) = -0.8t divide by -0.8 t = ln(3/9998) / (-0.8) in a calculator that comes out to be 10.1394

Hello Ferial, I can understand your situation all too well. Although I have found the courage to reach out of my comfort zone to help others raise their awareness, I too have nay sayers all around. The key is to not allow them to influence you, the choices you make for a better life, or sway your beliefs. Especially if they are any less conscious then you are. Everything and everyone is energy. Our energy will affect others, as theirs affect us, if we allow it. Your energy system is the most important thing you have. Protect it. When we allow others to dilute it with thier negativity, we suffer right along with them. As your journey continues, you will meet more and more like minded people and soon they will out number the others. Just because someone doesn't share the same beliefs as you do, doesn't mean they won't eventually. Actions speak louder then words and when they witness all that you have become they will begin to wonder...and ask. Until then, don't preach, but teach. They will learn faster that way. As far as the right words, maybe your trying to hard. Before I answer any questions, no matter what it is, I first take the time to ask the universe (God, or what ever label you choose) to give me the right words that will be best for them to hear. I only want to say what the other person is able to understand. Good communication takes place when everyone is on the same page. Don't give up on your dream of becoming a life coach just because you encounter obstacles. Treat each obstacle as a challenge and material that you can use to teach others in the future. Not everyone will agree with you. That doesn't mean they are right. Only you can decide how to chart the course of your life.

You're problem is the same one that has vexed man from the beginning - insecurity. You talk the talk and I believe you even want to believe what you're saying; but somewhere deep down inside is a nagging doubt that you just can't let go of. Be honest with yourself first. Then the words will flow easily.

I think people must find their own Path. I have my personal beliefs for comfort. It is against my personal belief system to proselytize. If religion or spirititual matters are discussed I stay very neutral because it is also my personal belief that one must make room for many belief systems. I believe what I choose to believe, I do not need to convince anyone else what they should believe. It is their job to find that out for themselves.
