Question: I'm not targeting most Christians--just the few here who have made a name for themselves by their hatred of Jews. Some of you seem to have your whole reason for being wrapped up in tearing apart Jews. The rest of us don't see love and joy and peace (remember the 'fruits of the spirit'?)--but anger and sarcasm and hatred. You don't celebrate the beauty in your own religion--instead you have to smear others, consistently and repeatedly. It's kind of the spiritual equivalent of the man who gets yelled at by his boss...and goes home to beat his wife. So what's the deal? I have to tell you that so much hate, so consistently expressed, makes me doubt that you actually believe in ANYTHING--it seems more like you've found in Christianity a handy excuse for your unreasoning dislike. Paperback: Well, I'm nothing if not valiant...stupid, maybe--valiant, yes. :) La Luz, sorry, you have no idea what you're talking about. I mean that nicely. Anti: Sorry about the links. Let me see what I can do-- La Luz: I HATE discord. But there are three or four posters here who consistently say vile things about Jews. It's true that I can't change them. But by asking them to present themselves in the light of day--I can at least show others what is out there--and why it's wrong. I'm not in the mood to be silent any more. That doesn't imply that I want discord. Sometimes silence is cowardice. And you really never know. There have been times when my mind was totally made up about something--and a chance comment by someone else opened my eyes to my Self. Some of these posters are probably irredeemable--but I wonder. I wonder if they know that they DON'T come across as smart--but as bitter and vindictive (ooh, how close that word is to 'vindicator'!) and as the very antithesis of spiritual people. At any rate, two or three of them are here this morning and have said some pretty incredible stuff. I'd like them to show up and defend themselves--I really would. But I doubt it will happen.. As a Catholic Christian I have great respect and admiration for my Jewish brothers and sisters. I have studied Judaism and if I was not a Catholic convert I would have converted to Judaism. What really irks me about the out right hate of some so called Christians towards the Jewish people is that they tend to forget that Jesus Christ was/is Jewish, not a Christian. Maybe one day we all will be able to live in peace without hate. God Bless Shalom

As a Christian who loves and respects my Jewish brothers and sisters I am sorry that you have suffered the effects of ignorance and hatred dealt out from those who label themselves as Christians. My 2 cents ... While I believe that you are mistaken in your rejecting Jesus as the promised Messiah, I respect your (God given) right to choose and am grateful that your choice lies with the one True God. May Almighty God bless your life and lead you on the path that He has set for you. Amen.

You seem to be looking for arguments. I'm not a Christian, nor do I bash Jews. From an unbaised point of view, it looks like you WANT discord. Wouldn't it be easier to accept that people are not the way we think they should be, but are the way they want to be? You can't change the world. You can only change yourself. Follow your own path and, if others appear "lost" to you, let them be. Arguing with them, in any sense of the word, will probably not change their direction. edit- I do know what I'm talking about. What I wrote is true. You can't change others. You can only change yourself.

All pure religions come from God and then man gets his filthy hands on them and changes them. Even the Bible was misconstrued by king Constantine yet people are taking it all as Christs teachings. read the Gospel of the Nazirenes The original Bible) it was in hiding with the Original Christians who went underground because of being killed by nonbelievers. Restored with historical documentation by Alan Wauters and Rick Van Wyhe . We have to be seekers of truth no matter what, not just religion. We can't just have blind faith God gave us discernment to use it. I like the Unitarians.
